Brent L. Damkier, (pronounced Dam-key-r) handsome lyric tenor atthe Regensburg Opera, is best known for his recent roles asPrince Tamino in The Magic Flute and Prince Ramiro inCinderella. Eine Nacht in Venedig, (A Night in Venice) by Strauss premieredon October 23, 2004. Damkier plays the roll of Pappacoda, aSpaghetti cook. It is a tremendous comic roll and Damkierusually receives the most applause even through it is a smallersinging role. This is the remaining performance.
